Mail++

Privacy Policy

Effective October 31, 2026

Short version: Mail++ does not collect, store on a server, or share your personal data. Everything stays on your device.

What stays on your device

When you remove an account in Mail++, its local sign-in data is deleted.

What Mail++ reads from a mailbox page

On mailbox pages it recognizes, Mail++ reads only the number of unread messages in the Inbox. It does not read subjects, senders or message text. Unread counts are used on your device to show badges and notifications, and are not sent anywhere.

What Mail++ does not do

The websites you open

Each mailbox is a website run by its provider. Signing in and reading mail happens on that website, and the provider's own privacy policy applies. Mailbox websites may also send their own web notifications if you allow them.

Children

Mail++ is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
